Gentle method for the mounting of rolling bearings
Around 5 percent of all bearing damage can be attributed to incorrect mounting methods or tools. Damage caused by improper mounting becomes apparent, for example, in the form of unusual noises, irregular running, rolling element indentations (scrape marks) or breaks. As a result, the highest precision must be ensured during mounting. Maintenance is also subject to further requirements, including lower energy consumption, minimized risk of injury, and reduced maintenance costs. A gentle and safe method of mounting rolling bearings and other workpieces is achieved by means of induction heating, which ensures that the rolling bearings and other workpieces are always prepared and mounted at the ideal temperature for technically correct installation.
HEATER-BASIC – for harsh environments
The BASIC series has all the basic functions necessary for induction heating.
Control is via a particularly resistant membrane keyboard, which can also be operated when wearing working gloves. The BASIC series is recommended where basic functionality is sufficient as well as for harsh operating conditions The HEATER-BASIC are available as bench top units and heavy-duty devices for a maximum rolling bearing mass to 1,600 kg.
Important features of the HEATER-BASIC
Sturdy, durable design
Durable membrane keyboard
Time and temperature control
Low energy consumption
HEATER-SMART – with Delta-T control
SMART models are equipped with Delta-T control as is recommended for rolling bearings with low radial clearance.
Two temperature sensors for the inner and outer ring can be controlled separately. The devices of the SMART series can precisely document the heating process, which is of interest wherever maintenance work and servicing must be traceable in detail at all times - for example, in particularly safety-relevant applications. In order to be able to optimize the heating phase in terms of time, the SMART models also have a ramp function (temperature per time unit), which influences the heating curve. The HEATER-SMART are available as benchtop units and heavy-duty devices for a maximum rolling bearing mass to 1,600 kg.
Features beyond those that are also included in the basic version are:
Delta-T control for rolling bearings with small bearing clearance
Automatic power regulation and sensor detection
Documentation of the heating process
Intuitive control via touch screen (TFT display)
Four heating methods (including ramp function)
Induction heater with medium frequency technology (MFT)
Medium-frequency heating devices
Induction heating device for mounting and dismounting, suitable for mobile and flexible use in a wide range of different applications, including large-size components
Your benefit:
Cost savings of up to 60% thanks to high energy efficiency
Increased productivity thanks to shorter heating times
Covers a wide range of applications in mounting and dismounting processes
Process reliability thanks to safe heating
MF-Generator
For dismantling small to large workpieces, the MF-GENERATOR is a cost-effective and suitable choice. Convenient induction system for installation and disassembly It is therefore ideal for mobile use. It ensures fast, safe, energy-efficient and clean installation and disassembly.
MF-Iductor
The compact, cost-effective MF-IDUCTOR easily heats bearings, housings, nuts and much more with modern medium frequency technology. Your customers can choose from many possible applications. At the same time, the MF-IDUCTOR helps to save valuable working time. The MF-IDUCTOR is available with 1.2KW-230V and 2.3KW-230V and with flexible and fixed inductors.
